The first Saturday in December is set aside for college seniors majoring in journalism who want the chance to find out what television news is really all about.
This is the kind of information classrooms alone just can't provide. That's why Brenda Blackmon and a team of Anchors, Reporters, Managers, Writers, Photographers volunteer their time to give expert advice. New York is the number one television market in the country, so the seminars are lively, professional and timely.
And there's lunch, too. All free! 9:30am - 2:30pm.
Students attend five class sessions, take notes, ask questions, have lunch and listen to a speaker.
